Maiasaura: While most dinosaurs abandon their eggs, the mother Maiasaura incubates her own until they hatch.

Her nurturing behavior has become famous because of her impeccable parenting habits and her care for her young, as shown by the nests discovered at Egg Mountain in Montana.

Maiasaura means "Good Mother Dinosaur". As fate would have it, it was a Paleontologist, Laurie Trexler, who unearthed the holotype specimen of Maiasaura during an expedition to Two- Medicine in 1978.
